How do you know a great NCS cockatiel? Just read the leg band.
All NCS Members who band their birds with our bands, will now be able to breed closed banded, traceable cockatiels.

Bands:
Since the band codes consist of 2 numbers followed by 1 letter (A-Z), please list your choices accordingly. (Example: For the code number 21A, the first band would read NCS 21A-01-01 with the following bands ordered sequentially.) If all of your choices are unavailable, one will be assigned to you that matches as closely as possible.
Bands are sold in lots of 25, 50, 75 and 100 and available in regular or large.
Laser Cut Bands
Now offering laser cut bands with monthly bulk orders. These will be ordered once per month, with a minimum of 5 orders to save on shipping. Once the band order is submitted to the manufacturer, the bulk order will ship to our Membership Director, who will then repackage and ship the bands out. If for some reason we don't meet the 5 order minimum in a timely manner, we will reach out to you to see if you would like to wait or order the regular bands.
Due to bulk ordering on a monthly basis - Laser Cut Bands could take 6-8 weeks, depending on when you place your order, so plan ahead.
Please note - these bands are stronger than the regular aluminum bands and require a band cutter like "Milwaukee 48-22-6105 Mini Flush Cutters"
Aluminum Leg Bands:
Please note - aluminum bands are taking longer than usual, due to demand on a single supplier (current time is approximately 4 months for new orders). Consider Laser Band if you need bands within the next 6-8 weeks
